Written and directed by Sayat Demissie, Kene Gar New (ከኔ ጋር ነው in Amharic, translated as "It's With Me). Sayat is a talented young woman who burst into the music scene in 2009 with her single Tew Maneh, a few years after she won the 2004 Miss Ethiopia pageant. We remember commenting on the Tew Maneh video when it was released: amazing. We admire her vocal dexterity, superb looks, and the video's overall presentation and ethereal feel. This is a lesson for Ethiopian videographers - yes, less is more. A FEW OBSERVATIONS: (1) Crank up your base and you'll enjoy an awesomely fluid baseline, especially until about 1:29' and back at 2:04'.(2) Including what seems like an outtake at 2:37', which attempted a crying scene but resulted in laughter, was brilliant.
