Israel is ready to support Ethiopia's endeavor to strengthen its higher education institutions, Israeli Ambassador to Ethiopia Oded Ben-Haim has said. The Israeli Government through its embassy in Addis Ababa has covered full expenses for six students attending their master's degree in clinical psychology at Addis Ababa University (AAU). The university is giving masters degree in clinical psychology, a first of its kind in the nation, with financial and technical support it receives from the Israeli Government. The University is offering the course with the help of local and Israeli instructors. Academic Vice President with the AAU, Dr. Jeyilu Umar on the occasion said the support of the Israeli Government would help Ethiopia to have qualified clinical psychology professionals.
